       Association of Profession Educational BBS Systems

               ***** LIST OF REQUIREMENTS *****

The following is a list a of requirements that a BBS system
must pass in order to be a member of this APEBS.

1) No Pornographic Picture files or adult conferences that
   have the purpose of promoting sexual suggestive behavior
   will be accepted for a BBS that is a member of APEBS.

   Educational adult conferences for mature discussion 
   on serious adult topics such a medical issues are allowed. 

2) Only shareware and freeware program are allowed to be on
   an APEBS member BBS. Reasonable effort must be made to
   remove all commercial software and the BBS is liable for
   termination of membership if they are found to violate
   this rule after 1 warning.

3) The amount of games on an APEBS System should not exceed
   a 25% ratio. In other words there needs to be at least
   75% non game programs on the system. Educational games
   are an exception to this.

4) Any APEDBS system should actively support education and
   must have at least 20% file content directed toward
   educational areas (including science/engineering). This
   file can be of many education types including technical
   or literature. For example: If you have 20 file
   directories at least 4 of them must be educationally
   oriented assuming they are all hold the same number of files.
 

Violation of any of the above requirements will subject the
system to member termination by APEBS or non accpetance of 
the original application.
