PCRelay Node Software Interim Release 4.11 February 23, 1992 The only program changed in the interim release is EXPORT. The following changes have been made: (1) Export now will not export a message if it already has a PCRelay tag line on it. This should help eliminate duplicates caused by individual boards pointers being messed up, as it will prevent imported messages from being exported again. (2) Export was not deleting the ID.RLY file in your communications path before it created a new one using ARC or ZIP. Under some circumstances after a communications failure, this was causing EXPORT to simply update the compressed file with the files from conferences that had mail, leaving all of the mail that had already been uploaded in the ID.RLY file. This change is also to help prevent duplicates. Version 4.11 will be distributed in two forms: EXP-411.ZIP, which is just the EXPORT.EXE program and this file, and NODE411.ZIP, which is the complete version 4.10 node software, with the 4.11 EXPORT. The reason this release is only an interim one is that there is a new system under development which will supersede PCRelay. It has been rewritten from the ground up, and we hope to have it ready for general distribution by mid-summer 1992.
