Quick Start for NOSVIEW (Stand-alone version)

The following are the commands required to get View running quickly.

C>  MD \SPOOL
C>  MD \SPOOL\MAIL
C>  MD \SPOOL\MQUEUE

C>  COPY A:CONFIGR.EXE  \SPOOL
C>  COPY A:ADD-ON.EXE  \SPOOL
C>  COPY A:QM.EXE  \SPOOL
C>  COPY A:MAILBOOK.EXE  \SPOOL
C>  COPY A:VIEW.HLP \SPOOL

VIEW.EXE  can be located anywhere as long as you have a PATH statement for DOS
to find it.  If you have been using another mailer with NOS, then the SPOOL
sub-directories may already exist.  When you run View for the first time, you
should select f5 and fill in the config page.


For novell users, the files should be in the  SYS:VIEW directory, and NOT the
\SPOOL directory.  Novell users must install the 'Network Postman' software.
