KEYBOARD EMAIL GLYPHS AND AN EXPERIMENT

Key board glyphs to add style to your notes and EMAIL messages. You can
add these kinds of character pictures (glyphs) to your messages to express
emotional state.  Please correct this list for standard glyph notation
or add alternative glyphs which say the same thing or add your own new
glyphs to the list.

This file constitutes an multi user update and maintenance experiment
to see what update disciplines might be useful for material which is to
be accessible and updated by many people.  See additional information
below.

                         THE GRAND EXPERIMENT

This is an multi user update and maintenance experiment.  Its purpose is
to see what update disciplines might be useful for code, data and other
such material which are to be accessible and updated by many people
using a traveling file concept without using a forum.

                        ZIP FILENAME CONVENTION

Since the zip file containing this file (KEYGLYPH.TXT) will be uploaded
and down loaded by random persons at random times on random BBS's, we
have selected the following zip file naming convention to aid the self
update process.

        GYyymmdd.ZIP    yy is the 2 digit year.
                        mm is the 2 digit month.
                        dd is the 2 digit day.

yymmdd is the date of last internal update.  The host bulletin board
will automatically record date the file is uploaded.  IMPORTANT: If you
do not change contents of this file but are simply passing it along,
PLEASE do not change the zip file name.

                        UPDATING

For those downloaders who want to comment on this or add other meanings
to the glyph list please do so at will. Please use a standard ASCII text
file editor without special formatting characters.

                        REUPLOADING

Periodically, we expect some random person to perform individual updates
or merge several older copies of this file into a single file and
reupload the results somewhere.  Downloader, give the new uploaded zip
file a file name patterned after the naming convention above but with
the date you updated the file.  If you do not change the file but are
passing it along, PLEASE do not change the zip file name.

Add your comments below in a similar manner. If you intend to modify and
reupload this file please make a note in the log below, entering the
date, your name, initials or handle and a comment.  Personal information
is not required.
