* * * TimeStamp * * * By:Ian Richardson Description: TimeStamp allows you to place a comment into your CALLERS.TMP that includes the time that the comment was placed into the log file. This utilitiy is very handy for those who use a redirection of a comment line to tell you that some one has used a external protocol or for those SysOp's hosting CircuitNET, that someone has successfully transfered a packet to or from your system, and what time that was accomplished. Command Line: TimeStamp requires two variables on the command line, the first variable is what you wish to see stamped into your log file. This variable must be placed in quotes for TimeStamp to read it properly. The next line is the path and filename of the file you wish TimeStamp to stamp the comment and time into. The command line should look something like the below example, stamped at 22:04:53. TIMESTMP "File Successfully Transfered" C:\SF\CALLERS.TMP The example above would place a line in your CALLERS.TMP file that would read. File Successfully Transfered At 22:04:52 And would be 8 spaces from the margin, which would line the comment up with all other comments within the file.
