====== Band Plan for Windows(TM) DEMO Version Instructions ====== Band Plan is a graphical representation of U.S. amateur privileges from 160 meters to 23 centimeters. It contains mode and frequency information for Novice, Technician, Technician +, General, Advanced, and Extra licensees. It is designed as a quick reference guide that can be kept on-screen or minimized. This DEMO version only has the capability to display bands that have NOVICE privileges. The complet version has all U.S. amateur bands from 160 meters to 23 cm. Both versions (1.2) require: 1)Microsoft Windows(TM) version 3.x running in Standard or 386 en- hanced mode. (Real mode or Windows 1.x or 2.x is NOT supported) 2)VGA. 3)A printer capable of printing graphics is desirable but NOT required. BPWIN1_2.ZIP contains the following files: BPWIN.EXE The actual program (DEMO Version) BP.HLP The help file BPORDER.TXT An order form for the complete version README.TXT This file After un-compressing the files, place all of them in an appropriate directory. To add Band Plan for Windows(TM) to a program group: 1) Open the group window for the group you want to add to. 2) Choose New from the File menu. The New Program Object dialog box appears. 3) Select Program Item and choose OK. The Program Item Properties dialog box appears. 4) Type a description for the program item in the Description text box. The description is a label for the program item icon that represents the program file in the group window. 5) Type the name of the program file, including the extension and full path in the Command Line text box. 6) Choose OK. Program Manager will select the appropriate icon and display it and the label you gave the program. To run Band Plan for Windows(TM): 1) Double Click the icon.
