Strategic Plan for ARRL to be Developed
 
Members of the ARRL Board of Directors gathered in Savannah,
Georgia, on May 6 and 7 to begin developing a strategic plan to
guide the ARRL in preparing for the opportunities and challenges of
the twenty-first century.  The ARRL Long Range Planning Committee
had recommended that because of the importance of strategic
planning, the effort should be initiated separate from the regular
business of a Board meeting.  The process that was begun in Savannah
will be continued with the objective of completing a draft plan by
the end of 1994.
