Since the first Field Day was held in 1933, it has grown into ham
radio's most popular operating event.  Over 39,500 amateurs
participated last year alone.  Please remember that the rules for
Field Day have changed for this year.  Starting with this year's
event, FD stations may not use the 30, 17, and 12-meter bands during
Field Day.  Please help keep these bands free for other amateurs.
All the other 23 amateur bands, from 1800 kHz up through 300 Ghz and
above are available for your Field Day enjoyment.  Good Luck in
Field Day 1994.
