Three stations will be manned around the clock, requiring more than 14 hours operating time per operator per day for 10 days. The team consists of Mats, SM7PKK, Garry, NI6T, Nils, SM6CAS, Jun, JH4RHF, and Pekka, OH1RY. They plan to be active March 24 to April 3, including the CQWW WPX SSB Contest. For CW and RTTY the call will be 3D2CU. 3D2CT will be used on SSB. QSL 3D2CU via G4WFZ. QSL 3D2CT via Mats Persson, SM7PKK, Zenithgatan 24 5, S-212 14 Malmo, Sweden. PACIFIC DXPEDITION, BELAU, MICRONESIA AND GUAM. Tosy, JA6VZB, plans to operate as KC6VW March 9 to 17, as V63BM from March 17 to 20, and AH0T/KH2 on March 20. His primary activity will be 160 meters, listening on 1823 kHz. For North Americans try from 1020 to 1500z. Europeans should try from 1900 to 2200z. TANZANIA. Franco, I4LCK will be active from Mafia Island, AF 054, March 21 to April 2. His call sign will be 5H3CK. He plans to activate two new IOTAs, namely Boydu and Nyuni Islands. He will also be active in the CQ WW WPX Contest from Mafia. QSL to I4LCK. KUWAIT. Bob, 9K2ZZ, reportedly has improved his 160 meter antenna. Listen for him daily 0000z on 1832 kHz. QSL via W8CNL. PAKISTAN. Reports indicate that Rudi, DK7PE, is in Pakistan. He is looking for an active DXer in Karachi so he may be on the air soon. THAILAND. A group of Thai hams will activate a new prefix March 11 and 12 using the call E25CMU. They plan to be active on all bands with CW, SSB, SSTV and satellite. Some operators mentioned are leader HS1AAM, HS1CDX and HS3DF. QSL via PO Box 19, Fang, Chiang Mai THAILAND 50110 or via the bureau. EUROPA. Stations in QSO with FR5HG on 15 meter RTTY on Friday, March 3, report he will be active from Europa for 45 days starting March 8. Activity will be on RTTY, SSTV, SSB and CW on 40 through 10 meters. MARIANA ISLANDS. Frank, AH0W/OH2LVG, plans to be active from March 23 to 30. Most action will be on the low and WARC bands. Listen for his CW, SSB and the possibility of satellite work on RS-12 and RS-13. QSL via KE7LZ. EGYPT. Ahmed, SU3AM, is very active on 20 meter SSB and plans to be active until March 18. QSL via DL5ZBV. CAYMAN ISLANDS. John, NC8V, will be on the air from Little Cayman Island, NA 016, as ZF2JC/ZF8 from March 16 to 21. Most operating will probably be on IOTA frequencies, but he will try to work in the Novice CW subbands. John operates mostly SSB but will switch to CW on request. QSL via NC8V.
