UA9OBA will be doing some extensive traveling throughout the Antarctic and Arctic regions beginning in June. Along the way he plans to activate a few new IOTAs, namely Nanskian and Scott Islands. At the end of this long trip sometime in late October or November he hopes to operate from Bouvet, AN-002. SRI LANKA. Willem, ON6TZ, and Gerard, ON4ASQ, will be active until April 1. ISRAEL. Riki, 4X4NJ, is active daily on 160 meters 20 minutes before and after his sunset. He can usually be found on or near 1830 kHz listening up. He needs ID, ND, NV, OR and UT to complete his WAS. CONGO. YL op Hazel was heard last weekend signing TN7OT on 14220 kHz around 1945z. KUWAIT. Faisal, 9K2HA, reports that as of March 1, all foreign amateurs visiting Kuwait must sign 9K2/their home calls. Please be aware that some calls once issued to foreigners are now assigned to Kuwaiti nationals. For example, 9K2ZZ now belongs to Faisal, ex-9K2HA. QSL via ON6BY.
