The items in this week's bulletin are courtesy of Tedd, KB8NW, the

CHAD.  F5IXR should start operations today as TT8/F5IXR and later as
TT8XR.  QSL via F5MXH.
 
ZAIRE.  4U/F6FNL has been on the air but little other info is
available.  4U/F5LMG may be operating from the same area.
 
MONACO AND GENEVA.  Luciano, I1YRL, plans to be active from 3A land
and 4U1ITU from mid August to sometime in November.  Luc operates
mostly CW.  W5ZPA planned to be on the air starting August 16,
though no spots for this one have shown up on our local
PacketCluster as of bulletin time.
 
FIJI.  I4ALU is now signing 3D2CA until August 23 with some IOTA
island hopping planned.  After Fiji he moves on to KH6 for August
24, 25 and 26.  QSL via I4ALU.
 
ROTUMA.  3D2RP was active on 20 meter SSB this past weekend.  Check
14211 kHz at 0345z.
 
TUNISIA.  Ron, AA5DX, is planning a trip around mid August.  No
further details are available at this time.
 
MADAGASCAR.  Karl, 5R8KH, was heard this past weekend on 21295 kHz
at 1700z.  QSL via WB8LFO.
 
RWANDA.  VE3MJQ recently arrived in Kigali for a six month stay.  He
hopes to receive a callsign soon.  Plans are to operate mostly SSB.
QSL via VE2PR.  Alex, PA3DZN, will be in Kigali on UN related
business.  He plans to be on the air as soon as he can.
 
BHUTAN.  Jim Smith, VK9NS, was on the air discussing the possibility
of returning to A5 land.  He mentioned that once permission to
operate is granted, he can be in Bhutan in 48 hours due to equipment
already being in place.
 
TURKEY.  Bob, TA1/K4UEE, has been active for several days, mainly on
40 and 20 meter CW, though sometimes moving up the band to 20 meter
SSB.  He has said he would try to be active on 160 meters at 0100,
0200, and 0300z on 1827 khz, listening up.
 
IVORY COAST, SIERRA LEONE AND LIBERIA.  Jay, K4ZLE, is going to be
busy for the rest of the month.  From August 13 to 20 and 26 to 30,
he will be in TU land.  August 20 to 23 has him in Sierra Leone.
And from August 23 to 26 he will be signing EL2LE from Liberia.  Jay
operates mostly CW on 80 through 10 meters.  QSL to his home CBA.
 
ARUBA.  Jun, HJ4RHF, and Kumiko, JR4DUW, will be signing P40S and
P40YL, respectively, for a week starting around August 24.  Listen
for their CW, SSB and RTTY on all bands.  QSL via PO Box 61,
Toyonaka, Osaka 560, Japan.
 
THIS WEEKEND ON THE RADIO.  The ARRL sponsored 10 GHz Cumulative
Contest has rules appearing on page 94 of June QST.
 
New Jersey QSO Party, sponsored by the Englewood ARA, is from 2000z
August 20 to 0200z August 22.  Operate CW and SSB, exchanging signal
report, serial number and QTH.  QTH is county for New Jersey
stations, and Section, province or DXCC country for others.
 
The phone portion of the North American QSO Party and SEANET Contest
