G3MRC/9Q5 has been worked in 20 meter CW around 2200z. MONGOLIA. JT1CS has been very active this past week on 20 meter CW and RTTY between 1230 and 1430z. QSL to Bat Erdene, Box 125, Ulan Bator 20, Mongolia. CHAGOS. VQ9QM says he will be active on 160 meters Sunday evenings. No specific times or frequencies were given, but last season he was on 1827 kHz and listening around 1833 kHz at about East coast sunset. VQ9TP continues to be active, frequently on 18079 kHz between 1330 and 1430z. QSL via N5TP. SINGAPORE. The S61 special prefix honoring the IARU Conference is in use through September 12. FIJI AND WESTERN SAMOA. Mako, JF2RZJ, reports that his group will fly to 5W land by way of 3D2, Fiji. They plan to be active from 3D2 from September 9 to 11 and again from the 15th to the 17th. They should be active from 5W September 11th through the 14th, instead of the 9th to the 14th as first announced. Their 3D2 callsigns have not been issued, but look for JA2FBY, JF2GYH, JF2RZJ and JH2ABL signing 5W0BY, 5W0HK, 5W0JA and 5W0BL, respectively. Activity is expected on all bands, CW, SSB and RTTY. QSL to their CBA. MARIANAS. Kunihiko Kokal, JA6CNL, will be active as KH0/KR4VN from September 10 to 13, on CW and SSB. Look for his CW on 10102, 18070, 24895 and 25 kHz up on the other bands. Rasti, HB9IIL, will be in Aruba from September 16 to 23. He plans to operate as P40RS and/or P4/HB9IIL mainly on 15 and 20 meter SSB, during local evening hours. Stations from are begun using the ''OS'' prefix to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the liberation of Belgium. They will use the ''OS'' prefix until December 31st. Also, look for special event stations OO50USA, OQ50USA, OR50USA and OS50USA on September 24 and 25. GIBRALTAR. ZB2 stations will be using the special prefix ZG2 in celebration of Gibraltar National Day until September 12. PACIFIC DXPEDITIONS. Teo, DJ1RL, and Harry, DL6NA, will be active from several spots in the Pacific. They plan to sign their home call portable from the following locations: Hawaiian Islands, KH6 - From October 5 to 9. Nauru Islands, C21 - October 10 to 17. Fiji Islands, as 3D2FT - October 17 to 19. Niue Islands, ZK2 - October 19 to 22. French Polynesia, FO - October 22 to 28. Activity will be on the normal DX frequencies. Teo will be active mainly on CW while Harry will be handling the SSB chores. DJ1RL will be especially active on 80 and 160 meters. Look for him on 1827/1832 kHz for top band QSOs. QSL via their home calls or the DARC bureau. ANDAMAN ISLANDS. VU2SMN says that he will conduct an operation from the Andamans at the end of October 1994. There are no further details or info available as of this time. UGANDA.
