     The Author of ScanText will welcome any comments or suggestions
concerning the ScanText files.  The Author is compiling these files
for the users and other scanner buff's.  

     The following items need some frequency searches and other
information:

[1] The Oshawa City Fire department has not been heard on their
published frequency since mid January 1995. Have they moved to
another VHF channel or have they moved to trunked?

[UPDATE] The Oshawa Fire Department has moved to the 800 MHz trunked
system. See the frequency/Location list for data.

[2] The RCMP has not been heard on their UHF channels since their
move to their new detachment in Bowmanville. Are the cellulars their
primary communications? Do they use comm equipment?

[3] The Oshawa Airport has been going through their equipment
and service upgrade, including a new ILS beam and a new terminal.
Watch for new frequencies to open up.
