VK2SG RTTY DX Notes for week ending 3 February, 1995

Again have been asked, why the intrusion of AMTOR and Pactor BBS
systems into the 14080-14090 RTTY frequencies?  Come on gentlemen,
RTTY is still very much alive!!  You are taking up from 14065-14085
plus higher.  This is better than 20 kc of the band now.  RTTY used to
be from 14075-14100, but some had other ideas.  Do you really need
more?

Our information this week came from DJ3IW and the Central-Europe DX
cluster node DB0SPC, I5FLN and the IK5PWJ packet cluster, W2JGR and
the NJ0M node of the Twin-Cities DX Packet Cluster, WX5L and the K5NV
DX Cluster, W5KSI and ZS5S.  Thank you all for your assistance.
