NCSA Mosaic for Microsoft Windows User's Guide
You can use either keyboard commands or the mouse and scroll bars to
move a document in the document view window.
- Up and down arrow keys
- Scrolls up and down one line
- PgUp key
- Scrolls up one page
- PgDn key
- Scrolls down one page
- Home key
- Scrolls to the top of the document
- End key
- Scrolls to the bottom of the document
There may be as many as two scroll bars on a document view window:
- A vertical bar along the right side of the document viewing area,
if the document is too long for the available space
- A horizontal bar along the bottom edge of the document viewing
area, if the document is wider than the document display area
A horizontal scroll bar
These scroll bars work exactly like the scroll bars that commonly appear
in Microsoft Windows applications. Click on the scroll bar on either
side of the button to move the document in large increments. Click
on the small arrow at either end of the scroll bar to move the document
in smaller steps, typically about one line or character at a time.
