NCSA Mosaic for Microsoft Windows User's Guide
This section provides information regarding other system and NCSA Mosaic
configuration issues that you may have to resolve.
If your network connection is slow or you find yourself retrieving
documents from slow or distant servers, you can set NCSA Mosaic so
that it transfers only the text of a document; inline images can then
be brought over when you want them.
The Display Inline Images entry on the Options menu will
show the current NCSA Mosaic setting. A checkmark before Display
Inline Images means inline images are automatically brought over
and displayed; no checkmark means they are not displayed unless you
specifically ask for them. Pull down the Options menu, drag
the cursor to Display Inline Images, and release the mouse button
to change the setting.
