The Network Administrator has the right to disapprove any Application for CalvaryNet. Any individuals whose application is disapproved may personally inquire as to the reasons for such via a written request through the U.S. Postal Service. When a user requests information regarding their disapproval, the SYSOP running that particular BBS will provide that user with this address: John Scudder 822 Masters Drive Oceanside, CA. 92057-6233. The Network message base will not be used to discuss application disapproval for any individual. Such will be done privately and confidentially with the involved parties. NETWORK and CONFERENCE USAGE: -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- CalvaryNet is structured to allow all Christians an avenue for Fellowship and Information Exchange. However, the Focus for CalvaryNet is Calvary Chapel and Affiliate Church fellowship. Please follow these guidelines when operating a Calvary Chapel Computer Ministry: CalvaryNet on your BBS or in your communications regarding this network: 1. Advertisements for CalvaryNet are authorized on Christian oriented services only. Exceptions are the Compuserve and America On-Line Calvary Chapel specific areas. At this time, please do not advertise CalvaryNet on the Internet. Exceptions to Internet use are in regards to the PRIVATE communications via private address specific to Calvary Chapel and affiliate use or initiation of a BBS though QWK means. FIDO will not be explored at this time with regards to CalvaryNet. Future FIDO capability will be discussed in the 4HisGlory Conference. 2. CalvaryNet is open to THE COMMUNITY {all} for fellowship and information exchange. It is mandatory that all individuals that will have an avenue to CalvaryNet on your respective BBS's be presented with the CalvaryNet Guidelines prior to their access. We want them to know of our strict "brother to brother" relations BEFORE they engage in fellowship on CalvaryNet. An information posting of CCPOLICY.TXT during their initial access to CalvaryNet will suffice (or other means that you devise in order to get this important information to them before their access to CalvaryNet is granted). 3. How to Interact on CALVARYNET as a Calvary Chapel Sysop -------------------------------------------------------- CalvaryNet is a growing new Calvary Chapel Computer Ministry Network, and is very "in tune' the the Calvary Chapel "needs". It is the desire of the Network Administrator that Calvary Sysops be as involved as possible in many decision making processes.. such as what new conferences are to be added, as well as giving input as to other thoughts and ideas. Currently, CalvaryNet has a few conferences that are specific to Calvary Chapel and affiliate church PASTORS and/or SYSOPS. 1. 4HisGlory is a restricted conference for Pastor and CC Sysop interaction regarding the "structure" and "focus" of CalvaryNet. Discussion, Prayer, and contemplation take place here to direct CavlaryNet for His Glory and His Service regarding the fellowship and information exchange on CalvaryNet. 2. CC-PASTOR is highly restricted. Only Calvary Chapel Pastors active on CalvaryNet will have access to this conference. This is a "meeting place" for CC Pastors, apart from the general network mail traffic. Only CC BBS's with active CC Pastors on CalvaryNet will have Relay Access. 3. CC-SUPPORT is a conference where the CC Pastors on CalvaryNet can minister to the Body of Christ at Calvary Chapel. The specifics of this conference are not complete yet, so check CC-ADMIN for updates regarding this conference's specifics. 4. Special Mail Boxes. Pastors and Sysops relaying from the CalvaryNet HOST BBS (The Shepherd's Flock Family BBS) will be able to have private mail boxes for their communications with the Network Administrator. If you are a Pastor Relaying CalvaryNet on The Shepherd's Flock BBS, your mail box is called by your full name (First Name; Last Name) and can be accessed by entering JOIN JOHN BROWN at the Menu Prompt (The name John Brown was an example). When you request to relay CalvaryNet, you will be asked if you read the CCPOLICY.TXT and this SYSOP.TXT file. MOST OF ALL.. May God's light shine upon you, and may you find great rest in the hope and promises of Jesus Christ. AMEN.. COME LORD JESUS! With love..
