    Welcome  to ChristNet Christian Fellowship Network!  This new  and
exciting  Network is a God inspired communication forum for  believers 
and  non-believers alike to share the Good News of our risen Lord  and 
Saviour, Jesus Christ and to seek answers about who Jesus Christ is.

  ChristNet offers two unique features which make SysOp  participation
very  attractive.  First, as  a matter of Operating  Philosophy,  CCFN
has  taken a scriptural position of "Freely have you received,  freely 
give."  As such, CCFN does not  charge any intiation fees, nor  annual
subscription/participation fees asscessed on the participating Nodes.

 Second, ChristNet is a  QWK/FIDO/PostLink  based message system which
negate the expense of registering a Mail specific  program to echo the
various  Forums.   All that is required to relay is  a  "mail  tosser" 
which  imports  the  messages from a QWK  down-load  into  the  remote 
message base.  

  ChristNet has gone online as a no charge QWK/FIDO/PostLink system to
maximize  participation.  We believe this method of operation  clearly 
reflects the attitude of Paul when he said "I have been all things  to 
all  sorts of people that by every possible means I might win some  to 
God.  I do all of this for the sake of the Good News."  1 Cor. 9:22-23

ChristNet  is  dedicated to allowing the Lord to building  His  house.  
King  Soloman  said, "Except the Lord build the house, they  labor  in 
vain that build it..." (Ps 127:1)  Our initial Forum offering will  be 
very  generic,  and very broad based.  As the Lord leads,  the  Forums 
will be expanded to offer more specific topical forums and/or specific 
forums which allow for message exchange between members of a  specific 
church.  

It  is my prayer that each participating Node will experiance  growth, 
both in terms of increased callers and personal growth on the part  of 
the SysOp as the Lord makes each of us better shepherds of His people.  
May our actions and communications always serve Him in such a way that 
His magisty is glorified.
