IceModem Protocol set-up for use with Spitfire 3.5 BBS software

Place the IceModem executable and the IceModem setup executable
inside your Spitfire EXTNOD1 directory. 
(IZM.EXE and IZMSETUP.EXE)

Then run the IceModem setup program and enter the necessary info.
Save and quit.

Place Mike Woltz's Appendit.Com into a directory in your path, eg
your Utils directory.

Put the SFEXTUPA.BAT and the SFEXTDNA.BAT into your EXTNOD1 directory
and edit the path inside the two batch files to reflect the true
path to your EXTNOD1 directory.

Make sure that the last letter of your two batch files does reflect 
the next available Hotkey inside your external protocols.

Next go to your Spitfire DISPLAY directory and
Edit the SFEXTUP.BAT and the SFEXTDN.BAT batch files and add the
Menu items and correct hotkeys. 

Samples of all four batch files are included. These work perfectly on
lots of Spitfire BBS' Down Under.

Write a couple of Bulletins, add a paragraph to your Newsletter etc. to
advertise this great protocol to your users.
It performs extremely well in conjunction with Spitfire Vers. 3.5
