FlexStat v2.02 The Flexible BBS Statistics Program for TBBS 2.2m (C) Copyright 1993 by RayneDrop Software All Rights Reserved. Fixed in Version 2.01: 1. You are no longer required to have the "Time Stamp All Dayfile Entries" option set to "YES" in CEDIT's "Dayfile" options. - File names are no longer being incorrectly truncated. - Menu names are no longer being incorrectly truncated. - FlexStat no longer creates humongous log, times, and calls files. 2. We've added "DateFormat" and "DateSeparator" switches to the FST.INI file to accommodate for those of you who use alternate date formats. "DateFormat" specifies the format of the date and may have the following values: DateFormat = 0 Sets date format to MM/DD/YY. DateFormat = 1 Sets date format to MM/DD/YY. DateFormat = 2 Sets date format to DD/MM/YY. DateFormat = 3 Sets date format to YY/MM/DD. "DateSeparator" specifies the character that separates the year, day, and month components of your date format. For example... DateSeparator = / ...specifies that "/" is to be considered your date separator character. If this value is set to "0", FlexStat assumes that your separator character is either "/" or "-". 3. ASCII Uploads and Downloads are now being reported correctly. 4. You can now abort the analysis of your history file by pressing ESC. 5. We've improved the way FlexStat v2.0 allocates memory for the file download lists. FlexStat works in the lower 640k of your machine and in most cases should allow at least 35,000 different file names in each history file. 6. We discovered that the optional call separator was causing some problems in the time calculations within the TIMES.DAT tables. FlexStat now ignores these lines. We suggest that you turn them off, anyhow, to lower the size of your history file. Fixed in Version 2.02: 1. FlexStat v2.01 didn't recognize the various disconnect messages when the "Time Stamp All Dayfile Entries" option wasn't set to "YES" in CEDIT's "Dayfile" options. As a result, the corresponding Flex Variables were set to 0 in output files. 2. All busy times weren't calculated correctly in cases where the "Time Stamp All Dayfile Entries" option wasn't set to "YES" and all lines were not included in the AllBusy calculation. TIMES.DAT now reports the correct AllBusy periods and times. 3. We've added "Exclude" to the list of FST.INI switches. Exclude allows you to exclude a file name or a menu name from the file download list and counts and the menu list and counts. To cause FlexStat to ignore the SIGNON1.TXT file, for example, include the following in your FST.INI under the "[File Options]" section: Exclude = SIGNON1.TXT To cause FlexStat to ignore the main menu in the menu access list and counts, include the following in your FST.INI file under the "[File Options]" section: Exclude = MENU0000 You may configure as many Exclude statements as you need. You are only limited by memory availability. In addition, Exclude SUPPORTS WILDCARDS. If you want to exclude all of the SIGNON files, add the following to your FST.INI file under "[File Options]": Exclude = SIGNON?.* 4. New users weren't counted after changes made in version 2.01. That's fixed. In addition, FlexStat must look for the "NEWUSER.TXT" file when searching for new users. We've added "NewUserFile" to the FST.INI file. NewUserFile allows you to specify a different file name for newusers. For example, if you've changed your NEWUSER file in CEDIT to "NEW.TXT", you'd add the following to the FST.INI file under "[File Options]": NewUserFile = NEW.TXT ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Contained in this archive: Filename Description -------------- --------------------------------------------------- FST.EXE FLEXSTAT VERSION 2.0 executable.
