The Following Are A Few Things New To v3.0 Of TriTABS: * Has The Ability To Update The Users Subscription Date!! I've Completely Re-written The Way TriTABS Updates The Users Security Level And Subscription Date As Well As Added The Capability Of TriTABS To Add Additional Time To The User For The Current Logon. (Make Sure You Make A SUBS.DAT File For When The Subscriptions Expire ) * Updated The TTCONFIG.EXE To Reflect The New Configuration File Format. (If You Are Upgrading From An Earlier Version You MUST Re-Run The TTCONFIG.EXE For EACH Node!) * Added Better Logging Of Activity And TriTABS Will Now Optionally Notify The Sysop At Logon Of A User Upgraded Using The Door. * Added Security Level Checking. Previous Versions Would Actually 'Downgrade' A User If Their Security Level Was Already Higher Than What The New Security Level Would Be. Now, If A User Has A Security Level At Or Above What The Door Would Give Them, The Security Level Will Not Be Changed. * Fixed A Minor Problem With The Sysop Menu Option From The Main Menu. To Use The Sysop Menu You Must Be Running A Registered Version Of TriTABS AND The Name Of The System Operator MUST Match The User Logged Into TriTABS For The Option To Work. For The Menu, Simply Press 'S' At The Main Menu. The Sysop Menu Options Are: --------------------------- Import New ID's (Unregistered Use 'I' From Main Menu.) Browse The Log File (Unregistered Use 'V' From Main Menu.) Find Out How Many $10 OR $25 SID's You Have Left Active Check If A SID Is In The Active File Browse Through Your Used SID Files Browse Through Your Active SID Files * Fixed The Problem Of TriTABS Sometimes Dropping Carrier On A User On A Multi-Node BBS. * Made A Correction To The Configuration File Set-Up That Was Causing TriTABS To Not Upgrade For A $25 I.D. If You Were Not Using The $10 I.D. Option. (Thanks Randy & Mike For Helping Me Track This Down!) * Corrected The Text Display Problem That Was Sometimes Sending A Screen To The User That Was Meant For The Sysop (Whoops!) I Would Like To Take This Opportunity To Thank All Of You Who Have Registered TriTABS For Your Support And Patience With The First Two Versions. Now That It's Getting Cooler Up Here, I Have More Time To Work On Programming And Will Begin A Much Better Version Of This Door (A Complete Re-Write). If Anyone Has Any Suggestions For The Next Release, Or Would Like To Beta Test For Me Just Drop Me A Note On The TriBBS Support Conference Or In Any Of The Programming Conferences On WME Or YankeeNet.
