HOW TO COMBINE FRAGMENTED FILES USING COPYIT.EXE Some large files have been split into two or more fragments so that they may be put onto floppy diskettes, and downloaded in parts. This text explains how to restore the fragmented files into one usable file. 1. Put the file fragments, and COPYIT.EXE into the same sub-directory on your hard disk. 2. Then type this command line at the DOS prompt: COPYIT .ZIP /R Where is the name of the fragmented file WITHOUT the extension. For example: To combine JUPITER1._01 and JUPITER1._02: Put COPYIT.EXE, JUPITER1._01, and JUPITER._02 into the same subdirectory on your hard drive. Then, from that subdirectory type: COPYIT JUPITER1.ZIP /R The files will then be combined into one file "JUPITER1.ZIP", which can then be unZIPed using PKUNZIP.EXE.
