        The Points Defaults menu is used  to control how points are awarded
 when scores are entered in Captain  Sheet input mode.

 Points Per String Total  - This option sets the number of  points  awarded
                            by   BowlStat  to  the  team  with  the  higher
                            pinfall  for  an  individual  string  (a string
                            WIN).   The  default  is  "2"  and  can  be set
                            anywhere in the range from 0 to 9.

 Points Per String Tie    - This option sets the number of  points  awarded
                            by  BowlStat  to  BOTH teams when their pinfall
                            for  an  individual  string  are  identical  (a
                            string  TIE).   The  default  is "1" and can be
                            set anywhere in the range from 0 to 9.

 Points Per Series Total  - This option sets the number of  points  awarded
                            by   BowlStat  to  the  team  with  the  higher
                            pinfall   for  the  entire  series  of  strings
                            bowled  (a series WIN).  The default is "2" and
                            can be set anywhere in the range from 0 to 9.

 Points Per Series Tie    - This option sets the number of  points  awarded
                            by  BowlStat  to  BOTH  teams  when their total
                            pinfall  for the entire series are identical (a
                            series TIE).  The default is  "1"  and  can  be
                            set anywhere in the range from 0 to 9.


 NOTES: The Captain Sheet Default options  "Team Single by GROSS" and "Team
        Total  by GROSS"  control wether  GROSS or  NET (GROSS  - handicap)
        scores are used when calculating the awarding of points.
