CLUB DEFAULTS
                               =============

        The Club  Defaults menu is used  to set the type  of "Club" and the
 minimum string  score required for  women and men,  to be considered  as a
 "Club" score.

  Ladies  Minimum  Score   - This option sets the minimum string score that
                             will  be  considered  as  a club score for the
                             bowlers  define  as  having a SEX field of "F"
                             in  the database.  The default has been set to
                             "375"  -  a  Candlepin value. Tenpin and 5-pin
                             leagues  should  change  this  opton   to   an
                             appropriate value.

 Men's Minimum Score       - This option sets the minimum string score that
                             will  be  considered  as  a club score for the
                             bowlers  define  as  having a SEX field of "M"
                             in  the database.  The default has been set to
                             "400"  -  a  Candlepin value. Tenpin and 5-pin
                             leagues  should  change  this  opton   to   an
                             appropriate value.

 Club  Type               -  This option  sets  the  club  type.  Currently
                             there are two options available:

                             T  -  Triple  or Series. BowlStat compares the
                                   series  total to the minimum club score.
                                   If  equal  to  or  greater,  the  series
                                   total is considered  a  club  score  and
                                   will  be  printed  if  the  "Print  CLUB
                                   Scores"  option  is enabled in the Print
                                   Menu Options (Average Sheets).

                             S  -  Single. BowlStat compares an  individual
                                   string  total to the minimum club score.
                                   If  equal  to  or  greater,  the  string
                                   total is considered  a  club  score  and
                                   will  be  printed  if  the  "Print  CLUB
                                   Scores"  option  is enabled in the Print
                                   Menu Options (Average Sheets).


                             The  default  has  been set to (T)riple. For a
                             club based on  a  single  string,  change  the
                             option to "S".

 NOTES:  The  club  scores  are  retieved  from the Yearly Statistics file.
         Therefore,  the  "Save  Stats/Club  to Disk" option must be set to
         'Y' in the General Defaults menu.

         The  Yearly  Statistics  file  will  increase  in size when bowler
         scores are  entered, causing the  printout of club  scores to slow
         down. This is normal and should be of no concern.
