Additional update points are detailed in the USBBSxxx.TXT file accompanying this list. *Minimum* requirements for NEW listings on USBBS include: (1) Modem(s) supporting 2400 bps or greater operation; (2) 80 MB of disk capacity devoted to the BBS; (3) 24hr/7 day service; and (4) Sysop must give REAL NAME in listing. The USBBS list is QUITE selective and is for BBSs that are oriented to serious users of DOS computers. BBSs that focus on games, "adults only" topics, dating and similar services or subjects will not be included. These criteria are admittedly subjective and rest in the discretion of the editor of the list. Impolite complaints about these decisions will be politely ignored. ================================================================ Columns 55-57 show the number of the USBBS list on which a BBS was first listed: 06 = 11/84, 26 = 7/1/86, 55=12/1/88, 88=9/1/91, 100=9/1/92. Cols. 75-79 show the size in 100s of megs and number of nodes. For example, 1/2 would mean 100 megs, 2 nodes and 50/ would be 5 Gigs and only 1 node (the default).
