V.R.E.T. Net Info Pack

What Is VRETNet?  It is a net dedicated to Virtual Reality and Emerging 
Technologies. It is a place were people can come to find out what is new
and what is coming out soon. People can find out what to do with what they 
have already. It can help Demystify the world of VR and MultiMedia. It can
help people make choices in what componants that are worth getting. It is a
Small net now but wiht your help it will grow.

WHY VRETNet?  With new products coming out as fast as they are This will be a
way for people to try and Keep Up.

VRETNet Rules:  They are Simple:

1. No Foul language. This is a open forum for every one.
2. NO Flaming. This Host will not tolerate IT. It is not neccesary.
3. Hubs must carry All areas, Nodes must carry Admin and at least Half of
   The Areas. 
4. Only One Hub per City with One State hub. 
5. Mail can be echoed through any means. A FIDO Hub will be Set up.
   State Hub must call Host Daily. City Hubs must call Daily also. Nodes may
   call once every 2 days depending on message flow.
6. All Hubs will be Responsable for All others under them. Problems will be 
   handled at the lowest level possible.
7. Taglines will be as Follows.
   : VRETNetþNode IDþBBS NAMEþLOCATIONþPhone number Space permitting
8. Any sugjestions will be handled through general agreement with Host having
   Final Say.  
9. Manufactures will be notified and made aware of this net and encouraged to   
   Sponser a message area. Any Hub or Node May contact them also. A Manufacture
   form will be enclosed for your use.

VRETCONF.ZIP is a file for your Users do d/l with the conf. areas

VRETNet Message Areas:

Admin. Just what it says. Admin area for Sysops and Moderators.

Software: For software advice, Help, and Discussion

Storage: For any kind of storage medium, Hard Drives,CD-Roms, even RAM

Systems: Help on picking the right System for what you want to do. Like do I
         Realy need a 486? or will a 386sx work fine as a work station?
         Also for talking about your DREAM system.

Graphics: This is for Graphics of all kinds from ANSI to SVGA. VR and Video
          Capture have there own areas.

NewTech: This is for new Technology. Stuff in the Testing or Developmental
         Stages. Also for New Product Anouncements.

MovieTV: This is for talking about TV and Movie uses of VR and Computer Graphics

Uses: Simple, How and what can we use Virtual Reality For. How Will it Help.

VidCapt: This area is for Video Capture discusions.

MultMed: This is for MultiMedia. What it is and How it works. Sound/Text/Graphics.

Any Ideas for new areas will be Welcomed.
