Logikal Solutions assumes no liability or responsibility for damages incurred by use/misuse of this software. Logikal Solutions also assumes no liability or responsibility for content or distribution of resume's uploaded to this system. Logikal Solutions does not charge users to upload resume's and limits its liability in such cases to the amount charged for the service to the resume' uploader. (Now that the legal department is done.) The Resume' Express BBS system is divided into 3 parts. The user end, the client end, and the host system. The host system is maintained and administered by Logikal Solutions. The client end is used by our clients to upload job openings, retrieve resume's, and match the two types of records. The user end is used by people looking to distribute their resume' in the best manner possible for the best positions possible. What this system does is greatly reduce the paper chase for both our users and our clients. By keeping skill sets and contact information in uniform database records we limit the potential for "creative" resume' writing. Each opening has a client type code with it. HH - Head Hunter (indirect highers recruits people for a client company) CU - Corporate User (direct highers for various areas of the company) CC - Corporate Consulting (direct highers, but may be per project only) If you don't like dealing with one of these groups of people, then don't forward your resume' to them. GUIDELINES: 1) Unless you want every client using our system to have instant access to your resume', LEAVE THE PROTECTED FIELD SET TO "Y". The protected flag keeps your resume' hidden from all clients whose job openings to which you do not respond. Setting this flag to "N" leaves it visable to all clients. They will automatically receive it the next time they log into the system. 2) You may upload multiple resume's to our system. Each resume' has a unique resume' ID associated with it. When you forward a resume' to an opening you will forward a specific resume' ID. If you have been in data processing long enough you will have worked in several different areas of data processing. Usually the skill sets required for each do not correspond to one another. This allows you to tailor skill sets to the type of opening to which you are responding. 3) You may upload resume's for freinds and family. YOU MAY NOT CHARGE ANY FEES TO THESE PEOPLE FOR THIS. If we find any users charging fees to upload resume's we will take DRASTIC action, including legal fraud prosecution. 4) DO NOT delete a resume from you local database without first marking the resume' as closed AND establishing one more session with the host system. If you do not mark the resume' as closed it will remain on file in the host system until it expires. 5) We strongly recommend you have a LOT of free disk space when you establish your first session. We also recommend you get a high speed error correcting modem. 6) What happens with each host session is as follows: a) All version numbers of your software will be checked for validity. If a newer release of one part of the system is now available it will automatically be downloaded to your system. b) All resume's in your local database which have been modifed since your last session will be uploaded. c) All resume' forwarding records you have created offline since the last session will be uploaded. d) All job opening records which have been modified since you last session will be downloaded to your local database. e) You connection will be terminated. f) All downloaded files will be unpacked. g) The host session application will end. 7) Use the job opening browser to forward a resume' to a specific job opening. There is virutally no reasonable limit to the number of openings to which you can forward a resume'. Since our clients are using our candidate matching software we recommend you only forward you resume' to openings which you are qualified to fill. Mass forwarding of resume's just increases both your connect time and our clients. It does not increase your chances of getting hired.
