Cash Control Unpacking Instructions CASHC.ZIP or CASHC.EXE =================================== ========= == ========= You may place the file CASHC.ZIP or CASHC.EXE on a high density disk or directly on your hard disk to unpack. If you put it on a hard disk make a directory first. From DOS type MKDIR CASH to make a directory. Copy the file to the directory and follow the instructions below. Type >>--> cd\cash Type >>--> COPY A:*.* ( Using drive A as an example. ) The files should copy to the CASH directory. IMPORTANT BBS INSTRUCTIONS ========================== If you receive your copy of Cash Control from a BBS the files are compressed in a ZIP file. You will need a copy of PKUNZIP.EXE to extract the files from the ZIP file format. A Shareware version of this program is available on most BBS systems. When the program setup is complete, please erase the file CASHC.ZIP to prevent opening it again and over writing the data files. IMPORTANT PUBLIC SOFTWARE LIBRARY INSTRUCTIONS ( PsL ) ============================================== If you received your copy of Cash Control from a (Psl), it is compressed in a self extracting file. When you type CASHC the file will expand and decompress the files inside. When the program setup is complete, please erase the file CASHC.EXE to prevent opening it again and over writing the data files. PROGRAM SETUP ============= Once the program is unpacked, type SETUP to install the program on your computer. If you unpacked the files on a floppy disk, the floppy can serve as a master disk. The setup program will copy the necessary files to a hard disk if you select the hard disk as your destination drive. The floppy disk should be either a 1.2 meg or 1.4 meg capacity. Do not try to unpack the files on a smaller capacity disk as there is not enough space. This method of setup is the preferred way to install the program. It leaves you the floppy to serve as a master disk and the setup only copies the necessary files to the hard disk. 360K MASTERS ============ To make a set of master disks using 360k disks, follow these instructions. First make a temporary directory on the hard disk and unpack the files as per the instructions above. Place the following list on disk one. Disk 2 CHECK.EXE Run the setup program from disk one and insert disk two when prompted. Keep the two 360K masters for a program backup.
