Type Fonts These collections of type fonts are put together in no particular order. We simply filled the each disk with .TTF or Type1 fonts. Each disk is $9.95 and is either full or near full. See the output of these fonts on the illustration page. Most of these fonts are excellent quality and both public domain and shareware. We have a total of approximately 1,000 fonts in our library. We have attempted to verify that none of these fonts are copyrighted commercial type fonts, but the major type developers have been unable to provide us with any information as to how to identify and separate commercial fonts from public domain ones. If you should happen to run across a font believed to be commercial, please advise us immediately and we will withdraw it from the library until it has been confirmed. I have been collecting public domain and shareware fonts for several years, and the following are some of those many fonts. You are not "purchasing" these fonts from DataWare. We are simply providing copies for the small copy fee. You are free to pass these on to friends, if you like. In the case of public domain fonts, no fee is requested or expected from the author. In the case of those fonts noted as "shareware", if you use them, please make a contribution to the author to encourage him or her to continue providing high quality, low cost fonts. As noted, many of these fonts are of high quality. However you may run across an occasional one that does not come up to your standards. Simply delete that font. In our shareware listings you will find several disks that you will find helpful in managing your fonts. FONTER and PRINTER'S APPRENTICE will allow you to print specimen sheets of your various fonts. OKFONT will identify incomplete or bad fonts. FONTNAME will give you the filename of the various fonts you have. TRUE TYPE FONTS We have almost 1,000 TrueType fonts in our library. We are in the process of cataloging them at the present time. If you are interested in these fonts, let us know and when the list is complete we will send it to you.
