COM-AND is a full featured terminal that can work with CONDOR.SYS unlike some more popular terminals. COM-AND is available on GEnie in the IBM PC RT and also on Lazy Eight 205-837-1681 v.32bis To get CONDOR.SYS to work with COM-AND first be sure you have CONDOR.SYS installed right. Edit your config.sys file: delete or rem out any line that loads ANSI.SYS or other ANSI driver and add: device=condor.sys For COM-AND settings make sure you have the com port settings to 8 data bits. 8,N,1 and the terminal type to TTY ( ALT-V to set ) most important of all do a ALT-O and set DOS screen writes to On. Set display control characters to On also. Be SURE to save the settings! COM-AND's help screens will not clear to well in graphics modes so it's good to remember that ALT-C clears the terminal screen. I haven't tried CONDOR with COM-AND beyond COM-AND 2.7 "This is all great but what is CONDOR ?" CONDOR is a graphical ANSI.SYS replacment that draws real high resolution bitmappped graphics online with terminals that support screen writes with DOS. Terminals like TELIX and QMODEM and PROCOMM don't have that option, they only allow DIRECT screen writes and BIOS, get on their butts! CONDOR's Paint program comes free with CONDOR 3.0, compaired to some other online paint programs that cost as much as $200!
