Quick start and notes. Formal help and doc's will be made available at a later date. 1. THE V7NL.DLL IS NOT COMPATABLE WITH THAT DISTRIBUTED WITH SOB V1.00 MAKE SURE THIS ON IS PLACED IN A SEPERATE DIRECTORY. DO NOT HAVE SOBNLE AND SOB ACTIVE AT THE SAME TIME BECAUSE OF THE DIFFERENCES IN THE TWO DLL FILES. The executable & DLL is a bit bloated as was compiled with the debug option on. Release code will be smaller. 2. When the nodelist editor is complete, SOB will be updated to use the new V7NL.DLL and both will share the same ini file. At the same time, I will release documentation for using the DLL. 3. In the configuration menu, the nodelist name is the name your compiler prepends to the .NDX and .DAT. Typically this name is NODEX. If you enter a home zone and net, a list of the nodes in that net will be created. The home zone and node is not mandatory. 4. When you delete or update a node, and that node appears in more than one window, each of those windows will have that node deleted, or reflect the changes made. If you add a node, and there is a window open for the new nodes net, the new node will appear in it's net window. 5. There will only be one instance of an Admin window per nodelist. 6. Double clicking on a Zone in the Admin window will open another window listing the "Zone" independent nodes for that zone. 7. Double clicking on a Region in the Admin window will open another window listing the "Region" independent nodes for that region. 8. Double clicking on a nodes entry with the left mouse button will invoke the edit dialog. 9. Pressing the right mouse button on a nodes entry will cause a popup menu to display. This popup menu allows you to enter a new node, edit or delete the node you clicked on, or refresh the list of nodes in the list. 10. Optimized non-index (ie; system name, location, etc...) searches. On my system SOB took approx 35 secs, to search the entire nodelist. This has been improved to take only 10 seconds. 11. Option to select a font to be used in the list windows. Suggestion and bug reports are most welcome either via netmail or OS2BBS echo. I am still looking for volunteers to come up with some ICONS for me. When it comes to artistic creativity, I have none. I would like 6 icons: 1. SOBNLE Main ICON 2. Zone ICON 3. Region ICON 4. Host ICON 5. HUB ICON 6. Node ICON.
