           Announcing the availability of NAPLPS API source code!

     Futureware Co. has developed a NAPLPS interpreter for use by  BBS
authors, door authors, third  party  utility  authors,  or  any  other
telecommunications/videotex software  authors.  Futureware's API fully
implements 5 of the 6 NAPLPS character sets with support for the  DRCS
character set on the way.  The excitement of this API is that the FULL
pascal  source code is available  for purchase, in an attempt to  help
promote  the  highly  sophisticated  NAPLPS  protocol,  which  is  the
videotex/teletext industry standard established by the CSA  and  ANSI.
Whether using the  source code  or the units, the  software  developer
will be able to easily support graphical NAPLPS images.

Some of the features of Futureware's NAPLPS API are:

-> Supports all character sets with the exception of the DRCS set
   which will be added with a future version.  This includes  the
   primary, supplementary, mosaic, macro, and PDI sets, with word
   wrap and scrolling.

-> Full support of PDI set including:
      - Rescalible pel size.
      - Four basic fill patterns.
      - Implicit and explicit use of color map.
      - Blink and wait intervals (Animation).
      - Incremental point, line and polygon.
      - All geometric primitives using our own drawing routines to
        make use of the logical pel. (Source for all drawing algs.)
      - All dimensionality coordinate interpretation with a three
        dimensionality software hook, when such display devices become
        available.

-> Full character rotations, character paths, inter-character and
   inter-row spacing, and rescalible character field using custom
   made stroked fonts.

-> Comes  with  units to  link all  graphic and font drivers into
   your program thus eliminating directory cluttering BGI and CHR
   files.

-> Resolution independent: Add your own BGI files and video
   modes.

-> Free upgrades to registered users of Futureware's NAPLPS
   interpreter.
