10/21/93 -------- I'd like to announce the pending release of a new shareware programmer's library for PowerBASIC 3.0, Powerplant for PowerBASIC. I am currently working on this library, and expect it to be available in another month or two. Powerplant will combine low, medium and high-level functions and subroutines into one of the most comprehensive, well-rounded and useful shareware BASIC libraries you've seen. At last count, I had over 300 routines developed, and am working on more. If you liked my Menusys library, you'll love Powerplant. As with Menusys, most of the routines will be written in PowerBASIC source, allowing you to alter them easily to fit your needs. The source code to the Powerplant routines will be available to registered users, as it is with Menusys. Look for Powerplant on the PowerBASIC BBS (813-629-9145), and through the Fidonet Programmer's Distribution Network (PDN) somewhere around or before Christmas, 1993. If you have questions or suggestions for routines you'd like to see included, please address them to: Tim Gerchmez 12648 S.E. 81st Pl. Renton, WA 98056-9121 Thanks for your interest, and once again I welcome suggestions for routines you'd like to see included in Powerplant.
