Subject: Scrolling Through PackRat Phonebook Causes GPF

Situation:
==========
Scrolling through the PackRat phonebook from the Send Fax dialog in 
WinFax generates the following message "FAXMNG.EXE caused a General 
Protection Fault in module WFXPB.DLL" to appear. The message may also 
appear when you first open the Send Fax dialog.

This problem occurs with releases of WinFax PRO 3.0 dated prior to 
April 21, 1993. Pull down the Help menu in WinFax and select About to 
determine the release date of your version.

Solution:
=========
Update your WinFax PRO 3.0 installation with the WFX304 maintenance 
release patch.

You can download the maintenance release patch from one of two sources:

a)  Delrina Bulletin Board Service (BBS)

    Note:   WFX304.EXE is a self-extracting zip file that does not need 
            to be unzipped with the PKUNZIP utility.

      - Select library 3, WinFax PRO

      - Use standard CompuServe procedures to download the following 
        patch:

If you decide not to upgrade to the April 21 release of WinFax PRO 3.0,
make sure that the fax number for each client in the PackRat phonebook
is listed within the first four number fields of the client record. This
will resolve the problem also.
