WHAT IS Win, What, Where ?

Simply put, Win, What, Where tracks all applications you run in Windows.  It logs when a 
program was launched and details how long that program ran. 

Organizations with a large number of computers can monitor each machine's usage.  This 
allows you to upgrade and allocate resources based on real information.

Win, What, Where records the time you spend on files showing you at a glance how much 
time you've spent on a project, giving you insight into your productivity. More important, if 
you have a PC you use for both business and home-related tasks or games, and you need to 
be able to write off part of the cost of your computer for your taxes, the program will provide 
a precise breakdown for each type of use. With Win, What, Where, you can present the IRS 
with a log that proves you actually do business on the PC, and don't just play games.

If you  charge for your work by the hour, Win, What, Where will help to ensure that you bill 
the right amount for your work. Because the program works completely in the background, 
you don't have to remember to log in and out of projects.  Win, What, Where tells you 
exactly how long you've spent on each file associated with a particular project Win, What, 
Where can even generate files you can use to directly bill clients. Finally, the program's 
extensive archiving abilities give you a handy way to remember filenames you might have forgotten: 
Just look in the Win, What, Where log, and you'll get a list of every file on which you've 
worked, along with the time and date you were using them.

Win, What, Where won't get in the way.  Load it and forget it.  Your time and activities are 
recorded automatically.

INSTALLATION NOTES
  
  You can install WWW one of two ways:
    1.  From the Windows File Manager, log to the Drive or Directory and
        double click on SETUP.EXE
    2.  From the Windows Program Manager, choose Run from the File menu,
        type A:\SETUP, and press Enter.


  That's all there is to it!  We hope you enjoy the program.  The trial
  license for WWW allows you to use it for a period of 31 days,
  after which time you must register it if you continue using it.

INVALID FILE FORMAT
  Several versions of THREED.VBX and SPIN.VBX exist. WWW makes every attempt
  to locate these files during installation, however there can be copies of
  these files found in the DOS PATH prior to \WINDOWS\SYSTEM.  If you see this
  message, do the following:

        1. Place the original installation diskette in B:
        2. From File Manager or Program Manager, enter File, Run and the
           following commands:
        3. EXPAND B:\THREED.VB_ C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\THREED.VBX
        4. EXPAND B:\SPIN.VB_ C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\SPIN.VBX


USER'S GUIDE IN ON-LINE HELP

  WWW contains a complete User's Guide in its on-line help system.
  You can select the "Help" Menu, or press F1 in all dialogs to go
  directly to specific help for that dialog.

HOW TO DE-INSTALL WWW

  If you wish to de-install WWW from a system, do the following:

        1) You must manually remove the WWW entry from either
           the StartUp group or the "Load=" line in the WIN.INI file.)
        2) Delete all files in WWW's home directory (assuming
           this directory contains ONLY WWW files!)
