Sunny 2000 for Windows 3.1 -------------------------- Version 4.01 Copyright (C) 1993 by Lou A. Moccia Sunny 2000 calculates the times of sunrise and sunset for any location in most of the North American continent, for any date from the year 100 to 9999. The times of the dawn and dusk astronomical, nautical, and civil twilights are calculated as well. Sunny 2000 can graphically display the phase of the moon for any date, and there is a monthly calendar display for viewing and selecting dates easily. Daylight Saving Time (and even its history) is taken into account automatically, and can be disabled for areas that are exempt from it. The following provides information about setting up the Sunny 2000 files. Complete details about the use of Sunny 2000 can be found in the SUNNY.HLP file, which is accessed from the Sunny 2000 Help menu (or you can open it in WINHELP directly). Archive Files ------------- The Sunny 2000 ZIP archive contains the following files: SUNNY.EXE - The Sunny 2000 Windows application SUNNY.HLP - The Sunny 2000 Windows Help file THREED.VBX - Support file required by Sunny 2000 README.TXT - This soft ASCII text file Program Setup ------------- Unless you already have it, obtain a copy of the VBRUN300.DLL file available online (search on VBRUN). Note the one required for Sunny 2000 has 300 in the name, not 200 or 100. Copy VBRUN300.DLL to the Windows System subdirectory, or to any directory of the PATH setting. Note that if you have other applications that require VBRUN300.DLL, then you only need one copy of it and don't need to download it again (and can delete any multiple copies you may have that are just wasting disk space). Unless you already have a newer version of it, copy the THREED.VBX file to the Windows System subdirectory, or to any directory of the PATH setting. This file is required to use Sunny 2000. Copy the SUNNY.EXE and SUNNY.HLP files to any directory. For online help to be available in Sunny 2000, be sure to set the working directory for the Sunny 2000 choice in your shell to where Sunny 2000 resides (or, just copy SUNNY.HLP to the Windows directory). Thank you very much for trying Sunny 2000 and enjoy! :)
