SECTION I         I N S T A L L A T I O N
			 

SUMMARY: Download; Decompress to hard drive directory;
	 Run Setup from that directory; Respond to prompts; Run.

REQUIRES:
	WINDOWS 3.1, or OS/2 2.1
	VBRUN300.DLL
	PKUNZIP V2.0 or greater (or comparable decompressor)

	About 2 MBytes of harddisk during install, 1 MByte after install

1) This assumes that you received or downloaded SUPMK110.ZIP onto a diskette
   or hard drive.

2) From a DOS session, make a target directory
   e.g.  mkdir c:\supermkt

3) Change to that directory:  
	c:
	cd \supermkt

4) Key: pkunzip P\supmk110
	      where P is the path to the downloaded file, such as
	       unzip a:\supmk110 or unzip c:\download\supmk110

5) This operation creates several files, described below, but 
   particularly SETUP.EXE, needed in the next step.

6) From the Program manager of Windows or WIN-OS/2, select the 
   menu command: File,Run

7) Key: c:\supermkt\setup and Enter     
	    where c:\supermkt is the directory used 
            in steps 2 and 3, above.

8) Follow the instructions during the installation. You are asked to select
   a target directory for the application. You may use the  
   default which is the directory containing the decompressed files.
   
9) A program group and item are automatically created. Click on the 
   Super!Market icon and execute the program.

10) To get help, press the F1 key at any time. To learn about the
    system, choose the GETTING STARTED topic in the help menu.


N.B.: Setup will not run unless VBRUN300.DLL is in the WINDOWS\SYSTEM
      directory. Obtain VBRUN300.DLL from the distribution system
      where you obtained Super!Market. For example, on CompuServe it
      can be found in the Windows Shareware forum in the Index Section
      as file VBRUN3.ZIP.


SECTION II   F I L E    D E S C R I P T I O N 

The following files are created in the installation:

	A. In the Application Directory
				(Default C:\SUPERMKT)
		supermkt.exe    The executable application
		supermkt.hlp    Help for the application
		dbase           The Database of Types and Items
	    or  dbase.ori       If dbase already exists, so that user's dbase is not altered
		readme.txt      This file with the latest information possible

	B. In the Windows System Directory
				(Default C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM or \WINOS2\SYSTEM)
		cmdialog.vbx    Support
		setupkit.dll    Support                         
		threed.vbx      Support
	      * vbrun300.dll    Support 
	       
	      * A distributor of this package may remove this module from the
	        Super!Market package and provide it to you in another package.
		You must have installed the module before beginning the setup
                of Super!Market.

	C. In the Windows Directory
				(Default C:\WINDOWS or \WINOS2)
		supermkt.ini    Control data for running the application
		superset.exe    Custom Setup Program
                supermkt.grp    Group and Program Items
	
	D. Duplicate Files
				
		If you decompressed files in the application directory
		then you have duplicates of the files which have been
		copied into the Windows directories, listed in B and
		C, above. You may delete these from the application
		directory. 

		If you decompressed files into a directory separate from
		the application and windows directories, then all of the
		files in that decompression directory can be deleted.
