Lyra for Windows is a music composition tool that may be used to write and
play music. Windows version 3.1 is required; if you wish to play music, then
some sort of Windows compatible music device is required (such as a Sound
Blaster or MPU-401 and a MIDI synthesizer). Documentation is in the on-line
help.

This pre-release version is fully functional and is released as "shareware".
For a registration fee of $20, you will receive a copy of the latest version 
or version 1.0 as soon as it is ready. Your comments and suggestions are 
welcomed.

While future versions will support MIDI files, this one will work only with
Lyra music files. Several are included in this ZIP file, and many more are
available from various other sources.
