This Document Is For Information Reguarding,

Spitfire 3.5 And The Infotel 14.4 Data/Fax Modem. Im Going To Try To Explain

How I Got The Setup To Work With BOTH The Data And Fax Features. First The 

Equipment And SoftWare Involved.

  (A) Spitfire 3.5  "By Buffalo Creek Products"

  (B) Infotel 14.4 V.32bis/V.32 Data/Fax Modem "Infotel Distrubting"

  (C) Qmodem 4.6 Test Drive "Mustang Software Products"

  (D) BgFax 1.36 " B. J. Guillot"

First You Need To Store Your DATA Initialization String Into The Modem NRAM.

I Did This By Using Qmodem 4.6 TD. I Used The Quick Modem Configure

 The Setting Is .... Infotel 14400 (all Others) "Note" Use This Setting To Get 

The  < K3 > SettingFor Your Modem. Next You Need To Configuer You Spitfire

Modem Settings. Use This As Your <FAX> Initialization String....

  AT+FCR=1+FDCC=1,5+FLID="000-000-0000"^M  "Note" The 0's In The Quotes Are

For You To Insert Your Phone Number With Area Code. Next Set The Answer

String With... AT+FAA=1A. Next You Need To Setup An SFFAX.BAT File. Because

I Have Two Drives And Spitfire Is On D:\ And BgFax Is On C:\ This Is How

    MY SFFAX.BAT File Looks:

           :FAX
              Echo Now Executing SFFAX.BAT!
              @Echo Off
              C:
              CD C:\BGFAX
              BGFAX.EXE /FAX C:\BGFAX\RECIVE 4 q
              D:
              CD D:\SF
              Echo Now Returning To Spitfire

The Documentation For BGFAX Tell's You How To Set Up To Recive The Fax's.

I Will Tell You Though You Need To Modify Your Autoexec.bat File With Two Lines.
The Are As Follows,   SET BGFAX=C:\BGFAX  And Add BGFAX To Your Path Statment.
