It is used by Alone to announce new releases, answer questions, talk about stuff which relates to Alone projects, etc. If anyone wants to get in touch or find out about Alone, this is the base which is to be used. * Digital Fusion Forum - [SK_FUSI] This message base is the official Digital Fusion forum. This echo is fully public. Digital Fusion is the sister group related to Alone which deals entirely with Compu_Tunes and Compu_Noise. (VOC, MOD, S3M ... ) Same deal as the Alone Base, go figure. * Freelancers / Other Groups - [SK_FREE] This message base deals with any other Compu_Group or Compu_Freelancers that could possibly want or need support. If it has to do with computers and it isn't corporate (Ie: MicroSoft) , use this base to talk about it. * The GoVeg! Solution - [SK_VEG] This base is meant for Vegan/Vegeterian conversation. In case you were not aware, this GoVeg! funk is an issue which Alone has been known to support very harshly. This base will be used to talk about Veg_Recipes, animal rights, and anything else that has to do with the Veg lifestyle. * SkidNet! Music Forum - [SK_MUS] Music is what this one's all about cuz music is what everything's about. This base is for discussion about anything that has to do with music. Any kind, any where, any how. It is however important to note that Alone is known to push the underground scenes and that Alone members ain't that down with the mainstream. * Ufo & Alien Quest - [SK_UFO] This base is meant for extra-terrestrial conversation. Aliens and Alone is yet another bunch of cross bread beliefs that we have been known to feel strongly about. This one's about anything that has to do with it. That's some funk. * Terrorism & Activism - [SK_TERR] In preparation for Armageddon, this base coincides with the HPG (coming up) and any activity which has to do with direct action. From building bombs to animal liberation ... from communist revolutions to the IRA ... from the palestinian terrorist movements to gay rights ... If it has to do with terrorist activities or activism, it is to be found here. * Why I Hate The World - [SK_HATE] This base is used to vent anger and frustration. It's for all those people who don't have time to contribute as an Indy for Alone or for those who don't want to. (This is a subtle pun by the way) ... The base is just about pointing out those things which make our planet ugly and perhaps uniting users into finding solutions to what needs to be fixed. * Beer, Chix & Cars - [SK_SKID] This is the sarcastic base where people loose their minds thinking that Alone is just a bunch of drunken sexists mutants with tight jeans. This base gets a little crazy ... To find truth within the lies and to talk with a random mentality. Woooooou. * SkidNet! Sysops Only - [SK_SYS] This base may only be accessed by sysops of individual SkidNet sites. It's the sysop echo where sysops discuss the moderation of message bases and all that technical stuff which makes the sysop what she/he is. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- [In Case You Were Not Aware Info] Alone is a group that releases MultiMediaHateZines - These Magazines are related to the bases in SkidNet - The general concept is to release anger in a positive form in hopes of achieving global positive change. Alone believes in full freedom of speech and information.
