Just plug-n-play the EXE and DOC files.

Just drop the new Sync_TAB.exe file over the old one.  Add the NOSYSOP
command line option to turn off SysOp level users from being in the
activity.log file. (Optional step)


        Upgrading Sync_TABS V3.01 to 3.10

Just copy the Sync_TAB.EXE file over your current one after you make
a backup of it to be safe.  See the Sync_TAB.DOC file and history.inf
file for more information on new features.        


        Upgrading Sync_TABS V2.10+ to 3.01
        ==================================

I have, to the best of my ability, tested this version out to ensure that
everything works properly.  There were extensive changes and additions
in this version so if you encounter any problems/bugs/etc. please
let me know ASAP and I will attempt to fix them.  Backup your current
Sync_TABS directory as a safety precaution.  I have spent many many hours
entering valid and invalid IDs, of all types, with and without SSE, to
ensure that the moduser.dat file is updated properly and the Profits
Statistics are updated properly.  I have changed my system date to ensure
statistics are reset properly when the year changes, etc.  I hope I covered
all the bases.  If not, re-read the disclaimer in the Sync_TABS.Doc file
and then let me know and I will see what I can do about it. :)

Configuration files have changed drastically.  Please read the SYNC_TAB.DOC
file for complete information.  Make a backup/archive of your current
SYNC_TAB directory, including ID files and profit.dat files, in case they
are needed.

Sync_TABS 3.00 now uses a new method of Profit Reporting and Statistics.
Write down your current number of IDs, Profits, etc. from the current
version of Sync_TABS you are using and re-enter them when you install
version 3.00.  Sync_TABS 3.00 keeps all Profit Statistics in a file
called PROFIT2.DAT so your current PROFIT.DAT file will not be touched.

Your .DAT files with your valid IDs can remain untouched.  You should, back
up your .DAT files from time to time, and now would be a good time? :)

unemployment are responsible for this version of Sync_TABS.

        Upgrading Sync_TABS V1.XX to 2.XX

  If you are using $10 IDs, rename ACT_SID.DAT to 10$CODE.DAT
  and USED_SID.DAT to 10$USED.DAT.

  If you are using $25 IDs, rename ACT_SID.DAT to 25$CODE.DAT
  and USED_SID.DAT to 25$USED.DAT.

  Synchronet V2.00 SysOps can now take advantage of easier flag,
  exemption and restriction removal via SBBS V2.00 new way of
  writing the moduser.dat file.

  You can, if you want, delete the TABS_LOG.TXT file as version
  2.00+ will create a much neater display with more information.
