INTRODUCTION ------------ The 123POWER.HLP file is the SUPER POWER MACROS, TECHNIQUES AND SECRETS FOR LOTUS 1-2-3 hypertext book in the form of Windows 3.1 help file. INSTALLATION ------------ Unzip the 123POWER.ZIP file into a directory in your hard disk. USING THE "SUPER POWER" BOOK ---------------------------- The WINHELP.EXE file which comes with Windows makes it possible to read and use *.HLP files in Windows 3.1. However, to force Windows to start WINHELP.EXE when you double click with the mouse on the 123POWER.HLP file (in the File Manager in Windows). Windows has to know that the *.HLP files are associated with the WINHELP.EXE file. Normally, when one installs Windows, by default Windows associates the *.HLP extension with the WINHELP.EXE file. If the book does not appear when you double click on the 123POWER.HLP file name and you see a message that this file is not associated, it means that Windows does not know that files with the *.HLP extension are associated to WINHELP.EXE. Therefore, from the file manager in Windows, choose the Associate option in the File menu item and type HLP in the "Files with extension" box. Then type WINHELP.EXE in the "Associate with" box and select OK. For instructions how to use the SUPER.BAT and the AUTO123.WK1 file, please read the "START HERE" topic in the book.
