This program requires:

	1) 386 or better processor
	2) Microsoft compatible mouse and driver
	3) VGA graphics card

If you have trouble running it under your usual configuration I suggest
trying from a bootable floppy disk with only a mouse driver loaded. 
For instance use

	FORMAT A: /S

to create a bootable floppy disk.  Copy your mouse driver to the disk.
copy QUAKE.EXE QUAKE.QAK and MAP.TXT to the disk.  Don't use any
CONFIG.SYS or AUTOEXEC.BAT files.  Boot the floppy disk, start the
mouse, then start QUAKE.EXE.

You can also try running it from Windows 3.1.
