Greetings DAZZLE user; The DAZZLE.EXE program has many features and capabilities. There is a large User's Manual available that the program itself can create. Simply type: DAZZLE /Z at the DOS prompt. Be sure that the DAZZLE.EXE program is in your current directory. Also, be sure that you have at least 110,000 bytes (110 KB) of free disk space on the current disk before you begin. It is best if you copy DAZZLE.EXE to your hard disk, perhaps in its own path, before you extract the User's Manual, which is a file called DAZZLE.DOC. You might want to create a DAZZLE directory on your main hard disk. These sample commands show one solution: CD \ MKDIR DAZZLE CD DAZZLE Now copy the DAZZLE.EXE file to your current directory. If the file in on the floppy drive in A: then this command should work: COPY /V A:\DAZZLE.EXE Now you should be able to create the DAZZLE.DOC User's Manual by typing: DAZZLE /Z When it finished extracting you should have the file. The User's Manual is too large to easily read on your computer terminal, so it is normally best to print it for your use. If you need to view it, then try this command: MORE < DAZZLE.DOC Press the Enter key after you read each page. If you have a dot-matrix printer, or a LaserJet, or any other printer that understands normal DOS text files (ASCII English, just like this that that you are now reading), and it is connected to your PRN: port, then this command should print the manual (be sure you have about 35 pages of paper loaded): PRINT DAZZLE.DOC The User's Manual should answer all your questions. It tells how to register this program so that you can legally use it past the 15 day free evaluation period. It shows how to print the order form. And generally is quite a useful document.
