KUWAIT. 9K2MU, with pile up assistance by DJ9LJ, has been working 3792 kHz around 0100z. QSL via WA4JTK. MINAMI TORISHIMA. Ishi, JI7BCD, has been busy as JI7BCD/JD1. Check 7010 kHz at 1030z and 2345z. JD1BIE has also been spotted on 40 meter CW. RWANDA. Alex, PA3DZN, who is active as 9X5EE on 40 through 10 meters, plans to be up and running on both 160 and 80 soon. ALAND ISLAND. Pete, N0AFW, will visit Finland from mid-December to mid-January. Plans are to operate for a few days as OH0/N0AFW near the end of his stay. Pete prefers the lower bands and WARC bands. MARKET REEF. Transportation and weather permitting, Pete may be able to get on as OJ0/N0AFW for a few days, probably between January 10 and 15. CAYMAN ISLANDS. JH1ROJ will be on Grand Cayman Island from December 29 to January 5. Listen for the call sign ZF2RO on 80 through 10 meters with SSB and CW. QSL via JH1ROJ. SOUTH SHETLANDS. Henry, SP3FYM, should be on the air in mid December, probably with the call sign HF0POL. His assignment should last through the end of 1995. Henry prefers RTTY and 160 meters. Rhombic antennas should provide many 160 meter operators with South Shetlands. DJ8WL reports Henry made nearly 25,000 QSOs during his 1990/1991 stay. SP2JYV may be active from King George base sometime in December. Listen for him on all bands with CW, SSB and RTTY. FALKLAND ISLANDS. Dave, VP8BKT, has been very active. Try 14184 kHz between 0000 and 0300z, 18153 kHz at 1830z, and on 21290 kHz starting at about 1700z. VP8CMP has been on 21290 kHz between 1300 and 1500z. ANTARCTICA. Gavin, VP8GAV, is now at Fossil Bluff, a British base. He has had a good signal on 14024 kHz after 2300z. QSL via GM0LVI. Eddie, VI0ANT, has been active on RTTY from one of the Australian bases. Try 14083 kHz between the time slots of 0100 and 0200z, and 1300 and 1500z. If weather permits, Eddie will be sporting some sort of Yagi. OE6EEG, who was on frequency maintaining the list, stated he would run the list operation for ZC6B every Saturday and Sunday. The DXCC Desk emphasizes that ZC6 was deleted from the DXCC Countries List as of July 1, 1968, and that the ZC6 prefix is currently assigned by the ITU to the United Kingdom. The DX News Letter of December 6 states that ZC6B was a joint venture DXpedition from the Ghaza Strip by Israeli and Jordan amateurs. NNNN /EX
