Radio Manager for Windows 2.01 9/14/94 Radio Manager for Windows is a radio control program for the Icom R-7000 Radio. It should also work with other Icom radios. New version 2.0 works with the OptoScan456(tm) from OptoElectronics. Radio Manager handles scanning, delays, 5 priority channels, lock-outs, presets, search ranges and more. You can choose your own delay amounts and priority checking intervals. Radio Manager stores data in Bank Files that can have 999 banks each. Within a bank you can have 999 channels. That's 998001 channels! Your computer's memory may limit this. You choose your own channel and bank numbers. Each bank can have a description, and be enabled or locked out. Radio Manager comes with Frequency Manager (see FM.TXT), so you can organize your frequency list. Radio Manager can then extract information from Frequency Manager files when needed. Contact Optoelectronics for more details if you don't have one. 1-800-327-5912 5821 NE 14th Avenue, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33334 * New signal detection methods added. System Requirements: * 80386 and higher IBM PC and Compatibles with 4MB RAM * Windows 3.1 or Higher (running in Standard or Enhanced Mode) * SHARE.EXE must be loaded for Radio Manager to function properly * A hard disk with 2MB free disk space * A 3.5" or 5.25" floppy drive * An available Com Port and a Computer-Radio Interface that supports signal detection with the Ring Indicator (pin 22 of RS-232 connector), or Carrier Detect (pin 8 of RS-232), or software signal detection for the Icom R72, R7100, and R9000 radios. Radio Manager works with the ICOM CT-17 interface, but it will not stop scanning when a signal is present, unless you modify your CT-17 as described in the help file or have a radio listed above that supports software detection. A 9600 BPS connection is strongly recommended. * An Icom R-7000, R7100, or R9000 radio, or a Pro 2005/6 scanner with and OptoScan456. Other Icom radios should work too, but only the R-7000 has been tested by me. Please let me know if your radio works or doesn't work. Works best when communication between computer and radio is set to 9600 bps. I N S T A L L A T I O N for unregistered copies.
