Each open house talk is preceded by a meditation sitting from 7:00 to 8:00; all are welcome to attend. Open houses are free and open to the public. Directions: Note: Boston Shambhala Center is in a large converted Greek Orthodox church, so it's very distinctive and easy to spot! Parking is available in back of the building, or on any of the neighboring side streets (except Wesley Street). From the West: Take the Mass Pike to exit 17 (Newton/Watertown). After the exit you will merge with traffic coming through a rotary; stay in the right-hand lane and take your first right onto Centre Street. Go through one set of lights; the Boston Shambhala Center is on the right at the end of the next block, on the corner of Centre and Wesley Streets. From Harvard Square: Take Mount Auburn Street to Watertown Square. Cross over the bridge and continue on Galen Street it ends in Newton Corner at a sort of rotary. At the end of Galen Street, stay to the right (don't get in the Mass Pike West entrance lane). Past the Sheraton Tara Hotel, bear left onto the bridge which goes over the Mass Pike, then get back in the far right-hand lane and turn right onto Centre Street. Go through one set of lights; the Boston Shambhala Center is on the right at the end of the next block, on the corner of Centre and Wesley Streets. By bus: Several buses stop in Newton Corner, including the 57 and the Watertown/downtown express buses.
