                           CHANGING SCREEN COLORS

           You  can change  the text  color any  time by  repeatedly
           pressing the F6 key until  you find a suitable color. The
           background color can be changed by pressing the F3 key to
           give the best combination for ease of reading.

           The screen colors of the  executable files (those with an
           extension  of EXE,  BAT or  COM) are  fixed and cannot be
           changed.

           This  CAR BS  program has  been released  as Shareware, a
           unique concept that lets you  try out software before you
           buy   it.  If   you  paid    for  it,   it  was   just  a
           copying/distribution  fee  and  not   the  price  of  the
           contents.  You may  make copies  of the  program and give
           them to friends and relatives, or sell them for a nominal
           copying and distribution fee.

           Use of CAR BS beyond a 60 day evaluation period obligates
           you to pay a small registration fee. See the instructions
           for registration at the end of this section.

           The CAR  BS program disk  consists of several  text files
           about buying  and selling your personal  car, including a
           brief  article  about   finance,  plus  four  stand-alone
           programs which are useful  in calculating interest rates,
           monthly  payments and  interest rebates,  and in creating
           listings of amortized loans.

           I call these programs stand-alone because any one of them
           can  be  copied  to  another  disk  and  run  without the
           presence of any other files.

           If you  have not registered  ownership before sixty  days
           you must remove  the CAR BS program, and  any parts of it
           you may  have copied, from all  of your disks as  well as
           your hard drive.

           Everyone who registers will  receive a disk containing my
           public  domain Calboot  program which  can be  set up  to
           display a current month calendar  each time you power up,
           or  any  other  time  from  the  DOS prompt. (Outside USA
           please  send  a  mailer  with  postage  if  you  want the
           calendar program.)


           Use the registration  form on this disk. You  can print a
           copy by  selecting PRINT REGISTRATION FORM  from the menu
           Or by typing REGFORM at the DOS  prompt. Either way, make
           sure your printer is turned on and has paper.
