SUPERTAXTM INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS We are using an INSTALL program this year to simplify the installation of our software on your hard disk. If you have a hard disk system, then simply do the following : 1. Insert our SUPERTAX disk in drive A: 2. From the DOS prompt ( C:> ), type A: and then press the key. 3. Next type INSTALL and press the key SUPERTAX will then be installed automatically on your hard disk. In order to run our software, you will then need to type just one word and press . TAX94 The install procedure creates a subdirectory called TAXES94 on the hard drive and then copies all of the files from the floppy drive on to the hard drive. If you are operating from WINDOWS, then you should enter C:\TAXES94 as the location for these files in the PROPERTY maintenance section, and the command to run the programs is TAX94.BAT. If you do not have a hard disk, then simply type TAXES and press the key after inserting the SUPERTAX disk into drive A: The programs are all menu driven and self-explanatory. The planning program requires you to save your data before it performs any calculations. You should save the data using up to 7 letters or numbers (with no spaces). When you wish to recall the data at a later time, you simply select the recall data option and type in the name you used when you saved the data. If you should forget to enter filing status, # of exemptions (or self-employment tax if you are self-employed) SUPERTAX will alert you. The programs have been compiled this year in order to increase their speed and to ensure that those who now have DOS 5.0 and higher will not have to seek out a copy of GWBASIC in order to run the programs. Since input is now solely from a screen input menu, we found that it is no longer necessary to use or include input sheets; however, if you would like to have a printout of the input item numbers and descriptions, you can do a screen print of the input menu. If you have any questions about the programs, please do not hesitate to give us a call. We appreciate your continued support. Thank you.
