This program was compiled with C Set++ v2 Sunday June 5th 1994 This is a little utility that will identify if and what kind of OPL chip you have on your system. Any OPL chip is assumed to be at port 389. Under OS/2 2.x, This program requires IOPL privileges. Make sure you have IOPL=YES or IOPL=OPLID.EXE in your OS/2 Config.Sys. Under DOS, For convenience, this programmed was stubbed with a quickly recompiled DOS version (using BC++ 3) OplID will detect the presence of either OPL2, OPL3 or OPL4 chip. There is a great OPL4-based soundcard that has support for OS/2, please consult the Audiotrix.Pro file that comes with this package if you are interested in getting one. -=Fran‡ois=-
